Role of the Programme Committee Chair
The Programme Committee Chair is appointed by the Steering Committee. The PC Chair is responsible for the following:

Setting policies relating to paper submissions, poster submissions, and conflicts of interest.

Appointing PC members whose areas of expertise cover all areas relevant to the theme of the conference.

Setting acceptance criteria for submitted papers.

Arranging for a paper submission system to be set up.

Approving the final list of accepted contributed talks and posters.
Role of the Programme Committee
After the closing date for paper submissions, the Programme Committee is responsible for the following.

Each PC member is assigned a number of submissions to review and score.

The PC Chair then considers these reviews and may assign additional PC members to submissions where scores differ substantially.

Following a discussion phase, the PC recommends a list of the best papers to feature in the conference.
